Dessie Stant

Dessie Stant is a senior BA theatre major with a focus in theatre education at Florida State University. She has worked as a co-director of the drama program at Kingsley Pines, is heavily involved with student theatre, and is studying very hard to finish her bachelor’s degree by the Spring. She plans to attend graduate school in the Fall of 2008 for theatre education with the aspirations of becoming a high school drama teacher.

Julie Haverkate is a second year MA student in Theatre Studies who
received her BA in English from the University of Michigan.  She has worked in entertainment for the Walt Disney Company and interned at Meadow Brook Theatre in Rochester, Michigan, as well as the Summer Play Festival in New York City.  Her focus is contemporary American
musicals, specifically those of Jason Robert Brown. She plans to pursue a career in theatre and film criticism following graduation in 2008.

Cassie Keet is a sophomore BA theatre student, hailing originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida during her freshman year of high school. After her graduation in 2010, she plans to write plays and screenplays professionally. She is more than pleased to be the Features Editor for the Dressing Room, in part because making crossword puzzles seems to be far less stressful than editing articles.

Dean's perfection is only outweighed by his extreme modesty. He is a sophmore here at
FSU, straight from his distant home of Frederick, Maryland. Aside from webmastering, Dean does lights and sound for various student and SOT productions and has been known to dabble in the art of acting and, more notably, the art of improv. He is also most happy to be here and working his patookus off for whatever someone tells him to do.
